Fed tăng lãi suất, PBOC tăng theo, VN đứng im

Cục Dữ trữ Liên Bang (Fed) đã quyết định tăng lãi suất thêm 0.25% lên mức 1.5% - 1.75%. Fed dự kiến sẽ có 2 lần tăng lãi suất nữa trong năm 2018 như dự kiến trước đó, nhưng vọng tăng lãi suất thêm 3 lần trong năm 2019 (so với dự báo trước là 2 lần).

Sau thông báo của Fed, chỉ số US Dollar Index (đo lường sức mạnh đồng USD) đã giảm nhẹ cho thấy đợt tăng lãi suất này phù hợp với kỳ vọng trị trường và tạo ra tác động không đáng kể. 

Động thái sau đó, PBOC cũng nâng theo để tránh divergence với Mỹ.

China’s central bank increased the cost of short-term loans to commercial lenders, tightening policy in step with the U.S. Federal Reserve.

The People’s Bank of China raised the interest rates it charges on reverse-repurchase agreements by five basis points, the central bank said in a statement.

Việt Nam thì khác, chả tăng gì cả, ngày càng giảm. Yield VN hiện chỉ còn thấp hơn 1 tẹo so với Trung Quốc và Mỹ. Thuần kinh tế học thì nhà đầu tư tại VN kỳ vọng đồng VN sẽ rất ổn định so với các đồng tiền khác trong những năm tới. Cái khó là liệu thanh khoản tại VN đã đủ để cái Yield này là thật hay chưa thì không rõ.

Cùng lúc đó, VNIndex đang vượt đỉnh cao nhất mọi thời đại, thị trường bất động sản sôi động không tưởng, đất vùng quen, bình dương, đã tăng double trong vòng 1 năm.
